I was very pleasantly surprised that the vacuum that I received from Shark is rose-gold colored and I find that great.First, make sure your vacuum is plugged in. If it is plugged in and the power button is on, you may need to reset your circuit breaker. If that option doesn't work, try resetting the motor thermostat. The steps to reset the motor thermostat can be found on the troubleshooting page. If none of the above work, your cord may be broken.You Need To Empty The Canister. If my Shark vacuum ever loses a little bit of power the first thing I do is empty the canister. You cannot expect the vacuum to keep sucking up dirt when the canister is bursting at the seams. It is best not to let your canister get so full that your vacuum starts to struggle to function.Front soft brush was failing to spin on my 810. I found that belt pully had only been pressed on and was now slipping after about 4 years. Fix was to Dremel a keyway on the shaft and inside of pully and drive a brad in to lock it firm. (see image close-up) I think this was really bad engineering by the manufacturer to just press this pully on. Floor Selector Switch is Disengaged: Most Sharks have a switch that can select either hard flooring or carpet. With hard flooring selected, the machine will turn off the brush roll.
