It's about $9.00 / gal. It works great in moderate temps. If it gets below about 30F , cut it with a little 20w hyd oil to keep it flowing well. Efco MT 6500 has magnesium crankcase (same as 590) and metal side cover.I wrote something wrong above,the 590 weights 6 kg and the 6500 6.5 kg so the difference is 500gr.Anyway both good saws but if the price is similar i would buy the Efco.497.
